A volunteer fund raising organization, it has contributed 87 million dollars in support of the libraries of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, while tapping the resources of the University to provide unique education programs for its members.

WHO
Men and women with a passion for learning, members are active volunteers in their communities who continue their education through Study Group courses created by Brandeis faculty exclusively for the Women's Committee and by University Outreach, an annual nationwide faculty lecture tour to Women's Committee chapters.

WHY
The Women's Committee supports the University's libraries through used book sales, book and author events, and unique fund raising programs such as Library Work Scholar, which pays the salaries of more than 100 Brandeis students who work part-time in the libraries.
